Residential Energy+

We aim to unlock U.S. homeowner investment in energy efficiency and renewable energy to create better homes for our families, our pocketbooks, and the environment, preventing 23 million metric tons of carbon emissions and improving quality of life.

Together, We Hold the Key to Better Homes

Listen to real homeowners sharing their successes and barriers in pursuing home energy upgrades, and what RMI and partners are doing to make better homes a reality for more U.S. families.

What Is Residential Energy+?

RMI is providing customer-focused solutions that empower and motivate U.S. homeowners to invest in trustworthy home energy performance improvements at a rate and scale needed to combat climate change. By driving market-ready offerings that customers want, we can better deliver greater health, comfort, cost savings and property value to American families.

Why It Matters

The residential energy efficiency market provides one of the greatest opportunities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, lower energy bills, and improve home values. The market can capture roughly $144 billion by improving the performance of single-family homes, while also helping the planet and millions of families.
