Shravan is a senior associate within RMI’s Center for Climate-Aligned Finance, working with the Alignment Insights Team. His areas of focus are the coal-to-renewables transition, decarbonizing heavy industries, and blended finance.
Background
Shravan joined RMI in 2020 as a marketing lead for the Center for Climate-Aligned Finance. Prior to joining RMI, Shravan was a reporter with Power Finance and Risk in New York, covering renewable energy project finance across the Americas. Before that, he obtained his master’s degree from Yale University’s Jackson Institute for Global Affairs, where he focused on financing renewable energy projects in developing countries. Shravan began his career as a journalist with Forbes magazine in Mumbai.
