Yuchen is an associate on the Climate-Aligned Industries team, focusing on separate initiatives that advance hydrogen deployment to decarbonize heavy industries and reduce methane emissions in the waste sector. On the hydrogen team, she supports one of the hubs through techno-economic analysis and community engagement. On the Waste Methane Initiative, she leverages quantitative tools to promote emissions transparency.
Prior to joining the Climate-Aligned Industries team, Yuchen worked with the Urban Transformation team, supporting their Urban Nature project in assessing the costs and benefits of nature-based solutions in urban spaces.
Background
Before joining RMI, Yuchen interned at World Resource Institute (WRI) and was a graduate consultant for the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA).
