Laurens Speelman is a Principal with RMI’s Strategy Team. Laurens leads efforts to share and advance approaches for analyzing transformative systems change driven by catalysts that are not adequately addressed by conventional models. The aim of this work is to provide more ambitious and realistic projections of future energy systems. These efforts include new tools to support voluntary climate commitments by non-state actors and assess their alignment with sectoral, regional, or global goals.
