Jane is a senior associate on the Clean Industrial Policy team within the US Program. She works primarily in the heavy industries, including hydrogen, shipping, aviation, trucking, cement, steel, and carbon management.
Background
Jane came to RMI after completing her Master of Public Policy from UC Berkeley. While in graduate school, she consulted to Meta platforms on avoided emissions accounting, to Levi Strauss & Co. on reducing single-use plastics throughout the global supply chain, and to the City of Alameda on decarbonizing and electrifying the city’s existing housing stock. She also worked at the Center for Law, Energy and the Environment at Berkeley Law and at the California China Climate Institute.
Prior to joining RMI, she worked in California politics, including two years as a special assistant in the Office of Governor Gavin Newsom.
