Zihao joined RMI’s China Program in 2022 as an associate. His work primarily focuses on the zero-carbon transition of the power system in China.
Background
Prior to joining RMI, he obtained his master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon with a major in Engineering and Public Policy. At CMU, he was a part of the Vehicle Electrification Group and his work focused on the interactions between vehicle charging and grid operations in the PJM interconnection. Prior to CMU, Zihao was a research data analyst at the Institute of Transportation Study at UC Davis where he worked on issues related to the emissions benefits of transportation network companies shifting their gas-based fleets to electric.
