Sudeshna is a senior associate on the Carbon-Free Transportation team, working on catalyzing a just and equitable transition to EVs. Her work involves accelerating EV adoption by developing policy and investment insights on critical enablers such as EV charging infrastructure and battery supply chains. She is a core team member of RMI’s Battery Circular Economy Initiative (BCEI), which focuses on scaling of closed-loop battery supply chains, supporting responsible sourcing practices to de-risk EV supply chains and developing global standards for circularity with multi-stakeholder input.
Background
Prior to joining RMI, Sudeshna worked at Cummins Inc. as a Mechanical Systems Engineer, analyzing design problems for nearly eight years. Her work involved simulation-based and experimental modeling of fuel systems and air handling components in diesel engines that were critical to emissions compliance.
