Marie is a Manager with RMI’s India Program and Carbon-Free Transportation team, working at the intersection of electric mobility, power systems, and climate finance. Her work focuses on identifying and designing financing and policy tools that mobilize capital, particularly in low- and middle-income countries, to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles and supporting infrastructure.
Marie leads analyses on how regulatory and market measures can enable transportation electrification and renewable integration, including grid planning and tariff design. Her work evaluates financial and market risks to identify targeted interventions to advance battery circularity and supply-chain resilience.

Prior to joining RMI, Marie conducted research at the Natural Resources Defense Council focused on India’s clean energy transition and energy access. She also has consulting experience in energy procurement, analytics, and carbon accounting, supporting corporate decarbonization efforts.
In an academic setting, Marie partnered with Duke University’s James E. Rogers Energy Access Project to assess practical applications of time-of-use tariffs and evaluate the financial health of mini-grid operations in Sierra Leone.
