Joseph is a manager with RMI’s Climate Intelligence Program, where he accelerates emissions reductions in the oil and gas sector. He focuses on differentiated market development primarily through lifecycle analysis and market mechanisms applied to refineries, petrochemicals, and certified low-methane gas.
Background
Prior to RMI, Joe worked for almost nine years in various engineering roles for Shell and its joint ventures. Immediately prior, he was a senior facility engineer, process engineer, and regional engineering decarbonization focal point for Shell Trading & Supply Distribution Operations in Northeastern United States.
During the first five years of his career, Joe worked as a process engineer and energy/GHG focal point for Shell’s refining and petrochemical assets near New Orleans, LA.
