David is a manager on RMI’s Global Electricity Transition team. His work focuses on financial mechanisms and investment opportunities that can support the global clean energy transition.
Background
Prior to joining RMI, David completed his MBA from the University of Cambridge, specializing in Energy and Environment. During this time, he worked as a consultant for the Stockholm Environment Institute, analyzing the efficacy of various financial and policy de-risking mechanisms for renewable energy development in sub-Saharan Africa. In the summer of 2022, David interned at RMI in the Global South Program, where he developed an evaluation framework for portfolio-based renewable energy investment in the Caribbean.
Prior to this, David spent five years in both consulting and the electric power industry, most recently at Southern Company, where he worked as a project manager on the strategy, design, and regulatory compliance of publicly certified demand-side management utility programs.
