Ariane is an associate on RMI’s Climate-Aligned Industries program. She supports RMI’s projects on green steel and iron through techno-economic modeling, complex policy analysis, and mitigation strategies.

Background

Ariane is a passionate climate and energy equity advocate with special focuses on policy, finance, and economics. Before joining the Climate-Aligned Industries team, Ariane was an associate at Uptake Alliance, a venture development program for green energy startups (run by ADL Ventures). She also worked at Columbia University’s Center on Global Energy Policy doing research on coal transitions in the United States. In her free time, she co-leads the Asian Environmental Youth Network, a civil society group that works to connect and support Asian youth passionate about climate solutions.

Ariane’s time at RMI began as an intern in 2022 on the Southeast Asia team.
