Join RMI, in partnership with Powering Past Coal Alliance (PPCA), for a discussion on the challenges and opportunities for transitioning existing power purchase agreements (PPAs) to support the coal-to-clean transition. This 60-minute webinar offers a short case study from Chilean stakeholders on a successful coal-to-clean PPA transition followed by a panel discussion exploring potential opportunities to transition coal-based PPAs in other markets. Presented and moderated by RMI clean energy finance experts Juan Vial and Tyeler Matsuo, the panel brings together perspectives from different geographies and PPA stakeholders, including independent power producers, financial institutions, and electricity regulators.
This diverse panel helps stakeholders involved in the PPA landscape better understand the benefits that a coal-based PPA transition can provide for power producers, investors, utilities, and customers.
