The free Energy Policy Simulator can help states craft the most effective energy and climate plans. RMI and Energy Innovation (EI) are launching free and updated Energy Policy Simulator models for the 48 contiguous states including important updates on leveraging Inflation Reduction Act funding. In this webinar, RMI and EI introduce the Energy Policy Simulator and demonstrate how the state models can be used to simulate and evaluate decarbonization policies.
The Energy Policy Simulator (EPS) is a free open-source model for estimating the environmental, economic, and human health impacts of hundreds of climate and energy policies. Use the national model or 48 state models to test out energy policy scenarios.
The updated Energy Policy Simulators are already helping states access federal funding from the Climate Pollution Reduction Grants program
