Finance is a critical component for achieving, implementing, and scaling climate ambition. The role of private finance in particular is a key topic for debate on the global stage, and RMI’s Catalytic Climate Capital initiative is dedicated to unlocking clean energy investment in the Global South through private, public, and philanthropic partnerships. As the conversation around the green economy accelerates this year in the lead up to what is being called “the Finance COP” in November 2024, Senior Director Vikram Singh will be chairing two days of conversation on this topic at the June 25-27 Global Energy Transition 2024 event taking place in New York City. With deep experience on climate finance, diplomacy, scaled ambition, and resilience, Vikram will facilitate timely discussion between energy and finance leaders during this event.
