Xinxin Hu is an associate in the Carbon-Free Buildings Program at RMI, where she works for the Portfolio Energy Optimization (PEO) initiative. She focuses on improving energy analytics as part of the PEO tool to accelerate building decarbonization.
Background
Before joining RMI, Xinxin worked as a building performance engineer in WSP for three years. She has rich experience in HVAC system design, controls, and energy analysis. Her experience includes detailed HVAC system modeling, especially for HVAC system upgrades, data analytics using Python Scripts and Excel, and parametric design analysis for commercial and residential buildings. She led multiple projects including laboratory, commercial, courthouse, high-rise multifamily, and healthcare buildings to meet code requirements across across the United States.
