Will is the learning and development specialist at RMI, bringing infectious energy to support internal learning functions. He creates engaging in-person and virtual opportunities, empowering RMIers to upskill in areas tailored to their unique learning journeys. As a current MS student in talent development, Will innovatively applies his knowledge to enhance RMI’s learning and development initiatives in real-time, ensuring RMIers excel in their roles and contribute to RMI’s mission.

Background

Will’s deep passion for developing people and fostering strong communities shines through from his experience. As an associate resident director in higher education, he honed his skills in cultivating thriving residential communities and preparing student leaders for success in the workforce. Driven by a genuine commitment to RMI’s mission, Will initially joined the organization as an intern, quickly proving his dedication to ensuring RMI’s success through its most valuable asset — its people.

Will holds a BA in Communications and Human Resource Management from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. He is currently pursuing an MS in Talent Development at Eastern Illinois University, with an expected graduation date of May 2025. Most recently, Will obtained a certification in Everything DiSC®, a powerful tool for improving communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, which he plans to leverage in his role at RMI to foster a culture of continuous learning and personal growth.
