Tomakin Archambault

Tomakin has spent his entire career in solar and energy efficiency as an investor, consultant or design engineer. Prior to founding GSSG Solar, he co-led the Global Special Situations Group at SunEdison and was the VP of Finance & Investment. While at SunEdison, Tomakin led the origination and execution of SunEdison Reserve, SunEdison’s largest multi-country solar vehicle, oversaw valuation for a number of marquee project and company acquisitions, and oversaw origination and execution of multiple “first time” solar structures. Formerly a member of a wind and solar investment business within an established $2 billion energy fund, Tomakin oversaw solar investment strategy and execution. He started his energy career as a consultant at Rocky Mountain Institute and as an energy design engineer for the National Park Service. Tomakin received his B.S. in mechanical engineering with honors from University of Denver and his M.S. in civil engineering from Stanford University.
