Tom is a senior associate with RMI’s Center for Climate-Aligned Finance. His work focuses on enabling financial institutions that lend to “hard-to-abate” sectors to align their investment decisions to the goals of the Paris Agreement.
Background
Before joining RMI, Tom worked across several industries in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. He has experience with consulting in the dairy industry, research into the production of graphene, and manufacture of catalytic converters. Tom more recently completed an MPhil in Sustainable Development where his research focused on energy and emissions in New Zealand, and the role of demand reduction in achieving national emissions targets.
