Suzy is an environmental engineer and associate within the Climate Intelligence Program’s Oil and Gas Solution Initiative. Her work focuses on activating climate-differentiated markets and policy via oil and gas emissions accounting, technology, data transparency, and traceability. Suzy also assists with the OCI⁺ model development of annual emissions calculations.

Background

Before joining RMI, Suzy was an engineering project manager at GHD for water/wastewater engineering projects and marine-based international environmental impact assessment projects. She also drove internal development and collaboration throughout North and South America as the program coordinator for GHD’s Sustainability & Resiliency Program.
Prior to GHD, Suzy was a research analyst at AidData, developing a first-of-its-kind attempt to determine city-level costs for urban areas to achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11. Suzy developed its transportation methodology and ran analysis for the majority of the cities studied, covering housing, transportation, waste management, public spaces, and governance. Suzy also worked as part of Shell’s Environmental & Regulatory team, covering Permian and Appalachian assets.
