Samuel Kooijmans is an Associate with RMI’s Center for Climate-Aligned Finance, where he is part of the team working to build a climate-aligned finance agreement between leading lenders to the steel sector.
Background
Prior to joining RMI, Samuel most recently worked in international trade and transaction banking as an analyst at Crédit Agricole CIB (CACIB). In that role, he had the opportunity to work on sustainable finance transactions including the structuring of CACIB’s inaugural green trade finance facility in the Americas.

B.Sc., Environmental, Energy, and Resource Economics, Cornell University
Completed a half-year program studying Sustainable Development in Northern Thailand.
