Background

Ryan is an expert in climate technology innovation, commercialization, and acceleration. He has developed climate technology startups and authored “Accelerate This! A Super Not Boring Guide To Startup Accelerators and Clean Energy Entrepreneurship,” sponsored by the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, World Wildlife Fund, and New Energy Nexus, featuring Y Combinator, Techstars, 500 Startups, Google X, and other innovation programs around the world.

Formerly, he was a network and curriculum lead at New Energy Nexus, founding team of the Free Electrons global utility accelerator, faculty at Singularity University in Energy + Environment, advisor to Carbon180’s CarbonTech Lab, founder of The Oceantech Community, and mentor at Techstars Energy and Big Ideas Ventures.
