Roberto works on RMI’s Business Renewables Center (BRC) team where he focuses on supporting product development and growing the BRC’s membership.
Background
Prior to joining RMI, Roberto worked at nonprofit CDP in Berlin and London, and helped to launch RE100, a global platform to make influential companies commit to 100% renewable electricity. Roberto ran the RE100 Technical Advisory Group and organized events to educate companies to international renewable energy procurement options.
Between 2005 and 2012, Roberto studied and worked in India, where he focused on bringing social enterprises and other market-based solutions to social development issues to scale. His work there included writing business plans for microfinance institutions, and market research for impact investors on new business models for drinking water supply.
Roberto is fluent in Italian, and can converse in German, Hindi, and Modern Greek.
