Paula is a manager for the Southeast Asia under the Global South Program. She led RMI’s Climate Resilient Cities project and offshore wind market development research in the Philippines. Paula currently serves as the secretariat coordinator for the Transition Credits Coalition.

Background

Prior to RMI, Paula was a project manager for the Financial Futures Center, where she led the Philippines Grid Modernization Research project and the Global South climate finance consortium for Asia-Pacific. She was also seconded to the V20 Group, a consortium of 48 finance ministers from the world’s most climate-vulnerable nations, as part of the secretariat. Paula was also an energy transition analyst with the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities, an international climate and energy policy think tank based in Manila. She supports rural electrification projects in the Philippines by actively engaging with electric cooperatives and startups.
