Monroe Zhang

Monroe Zhang

Monroe worked as an associate on decarbonization research including, green hydrogen development, cleantech innovation, and heavy industry decarbonization transition. She contributed to the latest report on China 2030 renewable hydrogen 100GW roadmap, especially on supply–demand analysis of various sectors and regions.

Background

Before joining RMI, Monroe worked with energy companies and international organizations. She worked at Envision Group on wind power and EV battery projects for about two years. During her studies, she interned at IEA on China’s overseas energy investment research and at the Brookings Institution on policy research.
