Mitchell is a Senior Associate with RMI’s Climate Intelligence Program, where he works to accelerate methane abatement efforts across supply chains as part of the Commodity Market Transformation Initiative. He focuses on decarbonizing the energy sector by developing differentiated commodity markets and implementing emissions standards for fossil fuels in the US and globally.
Background
Prior to RMI, Mitchell worked as a data analyst covering North American oil and gas upstream and midstream markets at BTU Analytics. He modeled and forecasted US LNG exports, gas demand from midstream, industrial, residential, and commercial buyers, and production from several key US oil and gas basins.
