Matthew is a senior associate with the US Program State Ambition team. His work is focused on supporting state efforts to decarbonize the electricity sector while promoting affordability for ratepayers. Matthew also works with policymakers and advocates around the country to advance virtual power plants.

Background

Matthew joined the US Program after his internship with RMI’s Virtual Power Plant Partnership team.

Prior to joining RMI, Matthew worked at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. While at the Fed, he helped identify and measure systemic risks of the largest financial institutions and researched climate scenario analysis methodologies to inform the Fed’s pilot climate scenario analysis exercise launched in 2023.
