Mark Grundy is a former Managing Director.

Background

He brings 18 years of experience in public relations and communications on energy and environment working for agencies, governments, corporations and non-profits in USA and Europe.

Before joining RMI in 2014, he was director of communications for Sir Richard Branson’s Carbon War Room, a market-based climate non-profit. Prior to that, Mark worked for Edelman Public Relations in the Corporate Social Responsibility Practice. Here he provided strategic counsel and media campaigns on climate, energy and clean-tech for Fortune 500 firms, governments. Mark started his energy and climate career as a Communications Officer with the European Commission’s Environment Agency, in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Education

Mark earned a B.A.(Honors) in Social Science, M.Ed in English, and MBA from Manchester University, United Kingdom.
