Liza is a former communications specialist for RMI’s Carbon-Free Electricity Program. Liza focuses on leveraging partnerships with electric sector stakeholders and corporate actors to accelerate affordable and reliable grid decarbonization. She works to amplify the program’s impact through media relations, social media, and marketing.
Background
Prior to joining RMI, Liza held communications and research roles at Sierra Club and Friends of the Earth, where she supported analysis and public relations strategy around federal climate policy and climate misinformation. She also worked as a legislative and casework intern in the office of US Senator Tim Kaine while completing her undergraduate degree.
