As communications lead for the Carbon-Free Buildings Program, Lilli develops meaningful messaging to amplify RMI’s work as it relates to decarbonizing the built environment. In her role, Lilli leverages engaging, multimedia storytelling across channels to increase the accessibility of her team’s research.
Background
Prior to joining RMI, Lilli led digital marketing efforts at The Stimson Center and C4ADS, where she translated complex research on international security issues into engaging data-driven narratives. Drawn to environmental security, she pursued a Master’s in Public Affairs with a focus on sustainability and policy communications. During this time, she worked in the Mayor’s Office for the City of Bloomington and completed an internship on Nike’s Government & Public Affairs team, where she researched advanced recycling methods and their policy implications. Lilli is passionate about leveraging her skills in storytelling and policy to drive sustainability initiatives forward and address climate change.
