Laura is an associate with RMI’s Carbon-Free Buildings team. She supports policy campaigns and works with state leaders and advocates to advance building decarbonization in the mid-Atlantic.

Background

Prior to joining RMI, Laura worked with state and local governments in the Midwest to advance environmental policies and climate planning initiatives. She supported Fresh Energy and other local nonprofits in Minnesota to advocate for clean energy policies, including upgrading building energy codes, at the state legislature. Additionally, while attending graduate school, Laura worked for a local government and planning agency, where she helped strengthen climate resilience, mitigation, and adaptation strategies for municipalities in the Twin Cities region.
