Kayla is an associate in the Market Transformation team under the Carbon-Free Buildings team. She works to shift the building space to electrify and decarbonize.

Background

At Wilkes University, Kayla led a group of students to design a Minnesota filter as part of their senior research project. She also participated in a partnership with Middletown Township in Pennsylvania to help them write the climate action plan to reduce the township’s greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, Kayla held a past internship in environmental construction, where she worked with the site foreman to monitor sediment and erosion controls.
