Kaveer is an associate on RMI’s Climate-Aligned Industries Program currently working on the Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) Initiative with a focus on Industrial Integration of CDR.
Background
Before joining RMI, Kaveer worked on multiple projects in the Caribbean region. He worked with the Caribbean Climate-Smart Accelerator to create 14 country profiles highlighting renewable energy projects, climate change targets and development plans. Kaveer also worked with the Project Management Unit at the Antigua and Barbuda Department of Environment on implementing an electric mobility project for the country and also has some Process Engineering experience from working at an Ammonia Facility with Proman Trinidad and Tobago. Kaveer’s early career experience also saw him
working with Advisors Next Door, an environmental consulting company in Trinidad and Tobago which lends to his holistic ability to navigate project design and implementation.
Kaveer’s passion for Carbon Management and CDR, has been with him throughout his early career which has resulted in several award-winning individual projects based around CDR and also in him starting a non-profit called The Carbon Sync which promotes the use of Nature-Based Solutions.
