Jake is Strategic Communications Manager-US Federal and State Policy. He is a member of the Influence Team and works on strategic communications with the US Program on federal and state policy and analysis; on cities and communities; on clean regional economic development; and on the America’s All In Coalition.
Background
Before joining RMI, Jake worked a dozen years at NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council) as a member of a federal communications team where he focused on domestic and international climate and clean energy action and communications; and as a western regional communications manager focusing on energy & climate issues in intermountain states and the Pacific Northwest. Before that he served four years as communications director for former U.S. Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska and before that as a Washington correspondent for the Omaha World-Herald and Kansas City Star newspapers.
