Jake is an associate with RMI’s Climate Intelligence program, focused on the Oil and Gas Solutions Initiative. He works to better understand greenhouse gas emissions across the oil and gas value chains using sophisticated models. By utilizing big data and visualizations, Jake hopes to reveal trends in the fossil fuel industry that will drive change.
Background
Jake joins soon after completing his Master of Environmental Studies at the University of Pennsylvania where he focused on Climate Systems and Solutions. There, he engaged in global climate ecology research, applying a foundation of satellite data to biogeochemical feedback loops of the world ocean. Additionally, he worked as a strategic planner for the Philadelphia Water Department using Geographical Information Systems and research skills to improve stormwater infrastructure and the local environment.
