Hamid is joining the Carbon-Free Transportation team as a senior data scientist. He will be working with National Grid and other utilities and government stakeholders on a Northeast US freight charging roadmap and supporting other data science efforts to accelerate electrification of vehicles.

Background

Hamid has previously worked on climate change impacts assessment, focusing on population dynamics. Using demographic models and geospatial analysis, he has generated long-term projections of population composition, spatial distribution, and urbanization, at multiple scales, following IPCC supported socioeconomic scenarios for impacts, adaptation, and vulnerability assessments.
