Evvan Morton is a senior associate on the Carbon Dioxide Removal Initiative team. She supports RMI’s Ankeron Direct Air Capture (DAC) Hub project based in the Pacific Northwest.
Background
Prior to joining RMI, Evvan was a DAC Hubs Project Manager at the US Department of Energy and an American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science & Technology Policy Fellow. She is also the co-founder of BioGals, a non-profit that empowers women of color in STEM through global sustainability projects.
Evvan is passionate about developing responsible governance for carbon dioxide removal (CDR). Her PhD research explored the need for CDR through political, technological, ethical lenses.
