Emily leads Third Derivative’s First Gigaton Captured Program, a focused cohort for startups in the carbon removal space. She enjoys pairing her technical background with her business skillset to support companies in scaling climate solutions. She works closely with RMI’s carbon initiatives — Carbon Dioxide Removal Initiative and Carbon Markets Initiative — to bring the organization’s expertise to startups in the cohort.
Background
Emily started her career as a consultant with BCG, first coming to RMI for an externship with the Carbon-Free Transportation team. While in graduate school, Emily worked for and advised multiple climate startups, including two in the carbon removal space.
