Elena is a manager with RMI’s Center for Climate Aligned Finance. She leads the center’s transition assessment strategy for the oil and gas sector.

Background

Prior to joining RMI, Elena spent nearly a decade at Wood Mackenzie in upstream analysis, program management, and operations roles. She provided asset valuation analysis for onshore, offshore, conventional, unconventional, and LNG assets in Latin America. She also led supply forecasting for Lower 48 oil and gas production. Before Wood Mackenzie, Elena worked on regulatory and political risk consulting at Goldwyn Global Strategies in Washington, D.C. Elena began her career in energy by serving on the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Spill and Offshore Drilling.
