Drew is a senior associate with the Analysis team within RMI’s US Program. His analytical work aids state efforts to implement climate-aligned policies across their economies.
Background
Prior to RMI, Drew spent six years at the Georgetown Climate Center working on the Transportation and Climate Initiative (TCI), state climate policy, and federal climate policy. He coordinated with staff, contractors, and state government partners on multiyear technical analysis of the TCI policy. The technical analysis was closely followed by the development of state-level guidance to institute the carbon pricing and clean transportation investment policy. He also authored the published paper, Reducing Transportation Emissions in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic: Fuel System Considerations, to guide transportation decarbonization program design. He previously worked for Futurepast Inc, focusing on the verification of greenhouse gas inventories, carbon accounting, sustainability standard development, and sustainable aviation fuel.
