  • Carbon-Free Electricity

David is an associate with the Carbon-Free Electricity team, where he’s recently worked on conducting an electrification analysis on the city of Houston to model the new demand of electricity from industry and other sectors, as well as working with advocates and rural electric cooperatives to push for equitable, clean energy solutions.

Prior to joining RMI, David was a STEM Public Policy Fellow for the American Petroleum Institute (API) and the office of Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO), through the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Insititute (CHCI). Before the fellowship, much of David’s lab work were focused on the fields of electrochemical storage devices at Columbia University and petroleum thermodynamics and flow assurance at Rice University.
