Daan is a principal in RMI’s Strategy team, working on cross-cutting energy transition issues and tackling key strategic questions with advanced analytics. His work includes identifying exponential green growth opportunities, accelerating and de-bottlenecking electrification, and exploring the implications of the shift from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources.
Background
Before joining RMI, Daan was a part of the Sustainability practice of McKinsey & Company. Here, he cofounded and led Sustainability Insights, McKinsey’s dedicated sustainability analytics unit. Daan advised a diverse set of organizations, including governments, large industrials, and financial institutions, and developed analytical insights to help critical decision makers navigate to net zero.
