Craig Berry is an Attorney Advisor in the Office of the General Counsel at the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia. Craig came to the Commission to work on grid modernization efforts such as smart meter deployment and dynamic pricing. Additionally, he has worked on renewable energy deployment and renewable energy credit issues, as well as leading efforts to reform the Commission’s low-income natural gas and electricity programs. During his time at the Commission, he also worked on numerous natural gas and electric rate cases and co-managed the Commission’s review of a recent major utility merger. Craig has also worked on wholesale issues: he represented the Commission before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and assisted in supervising the Commission’s default electricity service auctions. Mr. Berry is a graduate of Michigan State University (BA) and Washington College of Law at American University (JD). Prior to joining the Commission, Craig worked for the Law Offices of Carolyn Elefant.
