Charlotte focuses on communications impact work around green hydrogen for the Climate-Aligned Industries team. They write content, manage external events, and use diverse media channels to target key stakeholders and increase the accessibility of climate research.
Before RMI, Charlotte worked as a farmer in Connecticut. They were interested in food security and sovereignty, and took time off from college to work in a food pantry in New Haven and in a restaurant as a line cook. Following undergraduate, they were selected to be a Coro Fellow in San Francisco, where they developed a deep interest in climate research through their work at a climate consulting firm studying scope 3 emissions for food and beverage companies and as a fellow at The Nature Conservancy, working on behalf of the California Water Program to study the impact of dams on salmon runs.
