Charles is a Senior Associate with RMI’s Climate Intelligence program, working to decarbonize heavy industry. His work includes advising industry clients to advance renewable procurement and coordinating with stakeholders to advance projects. Charles specializes in grid interconnection of large-scale distributed generation, as well as technical and financial modeling.
Background
Before joining the Rocky Mountain Institute, Charles worked as an Engineer with Pure Power Engineering, designing 50MW+ of commercial & industrial solar projects across the US. Prior to his role as an engineer, Charles was a Fellow with Fraunhofer CSE’s Module Innovation Group, working on a DoE Sunshot initiative to reduce soft costs in solar installations.
