Caroline leads RMI’s global media team focused on leveraging earned media, content partnerships, thought leadership, and new storytelling platforms that bring RMI’s work to life.

Background

Caroline is a former and forever journalist working to pioneer a realm of communications and creative strategies that leverage multimedia journalism, photography, visual anthropology, design thinking, and cutting-edge digital tactics to shake the world awake through storytelling and to change the way we think about and live on the planet.

She previously led media throughout the Americas at the Rainforest Alliance, an international nonprofit working at the intersection of business, agriculture, and forests to make responsible business the new normal. She also served as the communications director and chief storyteller at environmental nonprofit Amazon Watch, where she built the communications and creative department from the ground up to serve the people of the Amazon rainforest.

Her work has been featured by the United Nations, WWF, Sierra Club, Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, Smithsonian, The Guardian, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Globe & Mail, Miami Herald, Le Monde, Climate Reality Project, Rainforest Action Network, Protect Our Winters (POW), @EveryDayClimateChange, and numerous other media, NGOs, and B Corp brands.
