Carmela is a manager in RMI’s Climate Intelligence Program working on the Oil and Gas Solutions Initiative. Her work involves applying, improving, and expanding the underlying oil and gas emissions models and sharing insights and strategies with public and private stakeholders to advance the mitigation of oil and gas emissions. Carmela previously worked on the hydrogen team within RMI.
Background
Prior to joining RMI, Carmela worked as an engineer at ExxonMobil, specializing in offshore oil and gas technology development, focusing on upstream applications related to decarbonization, digital solutions, and automation.
