Annina Sartor

Senior Associate
  • Climate-Aligned Industries

Annina is a senior associate in RMI’s Climate-Aligned Industries Program, where she is a member of the Carbon Dioxide Removal Initiative (CDRi) team. She researches greenhouse gas removal pathways to assess their potential at scale and consider the costs, benefits, and bottlenecks of their implementation.

Background

Annina has a background in physical chemistry, with a focus on studying the interactions between molecules and light in non-ambient conditions. Her PhD research involved hardware, software, and data analysis for single-molecule microscopy and spectroscopy at cryogenic temperatures. She also has extensive experience in teaching and scientific outreach, and is excited to apply her scientific background to identifying, analyzing, and communicating climate solutions.

Education

PhD, Chemistry, Stanford University
MSci, Chemistry with Molecular Physics, Imperial College London
