Amos is a senior associate and platform lead with the Third Derivative (D3) program, which is aimed at accelerating climate technology innovation. He leads D3’s horizontal portfolio support ecosystem, including the global mentor network, founder support model, scalable programming, and tools that enable customized value creation across 300+ climate tech startups. Previously, Amos led the Industrial sector vertical, designing and delivering support for startups working across materials, manufacturing, and decarbonization solutions.

Background

Before joining RMI, Amos worked as an impact investing analyst with WWF-US, supporting investment strategies for nature-based climate solutions and evaluating early-stage conservation and deforestation mitigation projects. Previously, he served as a climate and biodiversity strategy consultant, developing decarbonization and ecological restoration plans and facilitating partnerships across corporations, academic institutions, and nonprofits. Prior to his work in climate strategy, Amos led startup operations at Ecoppia, deploying autonomous solar robotics across utility-scale desert solar installations. He also founded and directed an environmental training and stewardship program for the Israeli Ministry of Defense. Earlier in his career, Amos spent seven years in the Israeli Special Forces, where he developed deep experience in small-team leadership, strategic planning, and execution under uncertainty.
