Alex is a manager with the Carbon-Free Electricity Practice, where he works with regulators and policymakers to adopt programs and policies that will enable a net-zero future. Alex specializes in work on distributed energy resource integration, demand flexibility, and energy system digitalization.

Background

Prior to joining RMI in 2023, Alex worked for five years at Ofgem, Great Britain’s Energy Regulator, where he led a policy team working on demand flexibility. Before working at Ofgem, Alex was a Senior Innovation Engineer with SP Energy Networks, an electricity distribution company in Great Britain.
