Adam’s work focuses primarily on helping real estate portfolio owners and asset/property managers use the Zero Over Time method to decarbonize their properties. This work includes portfolios of commercial properties and of affordable multifamily properties. Adam also supports other RMI initiatives on racial and gender justice and opportunity issues.
Background
Adam worked for over a decade for economic, social, and racial justice as a community organizer on the west side of Chicago and in several communities in Massachusetts. Then, for most of the past three decades, he helped build the US energy efficiency field as an executive at not-for-profit Conservation Services Group, which became the largest provider of residential energy efficiency utility programs in the country. Its assets were acquired by CLEAResult in 2015. Adam’s work at RMI, along with his work for Emerald Cities Collaborative, allows him to combine both of these passions and missions.
